To top up your Roamsim eSIM with more data, simply purchase a new plan for the same country or multi-country eSIM. There's no need to reinstall your eSIM; your additional data will activate automatically once the new plan is purchased. If you want to add data for a different country or multi-country eSIM, you will need to purchase a new plan and install the new eSIM.

No, there are no hidden fees. The price you see at checkout is the final cost. All Roamsim eSIMs are prepaid.

No, you can keep your normal sim card in your phone and access eSIM simultaneously. To avoid roaming charges from your Telecom provider, we recommend using your eSIM for Data and turning off your Primary phone line.

Yes, you can use WhatsApp, Google Maps, FaceTime, Instagram, TikTok and any other online apps with an eSIM. A Roamsim eSIM provides you with data only, therefore any data used on your phone whilst you have an eSIM installed will be drawn from your eSIM rather than your physical sim.

Yes. A Roamsim eSim can only be installed on network unlocked phones. If you your phone is unlocked, please contact your carrier provider directly for device unlocking.

As a Wi-Fi connection is required for โ€œInstallationโ€, we recommend doing this 1-2 days before departing. Once you are ready to depart, we recommend โ€œActivatingโ€ your eSIM, this will ensure your Roamsim eSIM is ready to use the moment you land. The validity period of your eSIM begins once you have used data at your destination.

Roamsim eSIMs provide data only. While you can accept make/accept calls and SMS as normal, roaming charges by your carrier will apply. To avoid potentially costly roaming charges imposed by your carrier, Roamsim suggests traditional calls and SMS are not used while outside of your home country. Roamsim eSims can be used for internet-based messaging and calling services (such as WhatsApp, iMessage, Messenger, Instagram, Facetime). These internet-based services will use the data provided on your eSIM. *Please note, Roamsim does not provide any services for Phone Calls.
