Auto Install on Apple iOS:

(iOS 17.4 or later required)

Step 1 of 2: Install Your eSIM

Read the instructions below first, then tap 'Install eSIM' to begin. When the new screen opens, follow Apple’s prompts and wait for activation (this may take a few minutes, don’t exit the screen).

⚠️
During installation, you may be prompted for some or all of the following, depending on your iOS version.
  • Choose a Label for your eSIM e.g., “Secondary”, “Business”
  • For Cellular Data, select the eSIM you labeled (Do not choose the Primary SIM).
⚠️
Make sure "Allow Cellular Data Switching" is set to OFF.

Proceed to Step 2.

Note: If earlier iOS versions prompt you:

  • Select "Primary" as your Default (Voice) Line
  • For iMessage & FaceTime, choose "Primary"

Step 2 of 2: Access Data

Note: Perform just before departure or upon arrival

  • Open Settings > Cellular > Tap the eSIM you labelled e.g., “Secondary”, “Business”
  • Ensure "Turn On This Line" is ON.
  • Toggle "Data Roaming" to ON

All set! Once you reach your destination, Roamsim will automatically connect to a network, and your plan will update from 'Pending' to 'Active' in the Manage Plans tab.
